Recent reports suggest that the UK is facing a severe housing shortage, there is simply not enough rental property to meet demand. The Association of Residential Letting Agents carried out research that showed that both agencies and landlords are in agreement that the situation is near crisis point.
We believe that if the demand continues to outstrip supply then quite simply, rents will have to rise. That could be good news for landlords but it also offers a prime opportunity for businesses supplying the lettings market, such as ours, to flourish – because as the market grows there will be more inclination to invest in a high quality inventory.
